Hundley Cellars is a family owned winery Located on 35 acres in Harpersfield, Ohio. Opened in 2014 Hundley Cellars is a relatively new winery in the grand river valley wine region but quickly became a favorite among locals and visitors alike. This winery is housed in a renovated farmhouse and it surely makes you feel at home.
Nothing beats cozying up at the fire place with a nice glass of wine on a friday night. One of my favorite things about Hundley Cellars is that it truly captures the charm friendliness and outdoorsy character of Harpersfield Township, having grown up here it really gives you a taste of what living here is like. I can only imagine how many wonderful memories will be made here hanging out in an adirondack chair next to a roaring fire and watching the sunset over the pond. After the sun has set stick around because the lack of light pollution & the pond will make for a perfect place to look at the stars and listen to the frogs, crickets & tree frogs that come out at night.
Hundley cellars also has entertainment every Saturday from 2-5 and every third Thursday of the month, so if you like live music this is the place to be.
The wine here is also incredible during my last visit I tried the Estate Seyval They also have an Estate Late Harvest Vidal. Both of which are something to be proud of considering they started growing grapes during some of the harshest growing seasons in the last few decades. They also have many other delicious wines made from grapes from ohio and beyond. They offer many dry and sweet red and white wines, so there is something for every palate. They also offer many small plates if you are hungry including pizza, cheese boards, pretzels, sliders and much more. I didn’t order any food during my last visit but a lot of people did, it all looked really delicious. Not to mention the presentation was impressive it all looked very fancy.
