Eyring Wetlands Metropark

Eyering Wetlands Metropark is an Ashtabula County Metropark that was opened in October 2017. Eyring Wetlands was the 5th Ashtabula County Metropark to open to the public since the 2014 park levy was passed. It is located in Geneva Ohio on 52 acres that were donated by conservationist Don Eyring. The Property was once a cornfield and dairy farm that was converted to wetlands over the years by Eyring and his colleagues, naturalist Herb Janke and biology professor Dr. Ed Hauser of Lakeland Community College.

The Red Eagle Distillery: An Authentic Distillery in the Heart of Wine Country

The Red Eagle Distillery In Geneva Ohio was opened in 2012 as one of the first legal distilleries in the state of Ohio since prohibition. The distillery is housed in a historic barn that was built in the late 1880s. Used for farming, the barn was also rumored to once have been used to distill spirits during prohibition and beyond. The distillery is located in the heart of the Grand River Valley wine region nestled right next to their sister business South River Winery, that features an 80-acre vineyard.
